Hi I'm Rachel

I've lived in Utah valley my whole life. I'm studying English teaching at BYU and preparing to serve a mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the third of 8 kids. I recently moved to Provo to study at BYU. I love being outdoors, reading, and spending time with family and friends. I play the piano and the clarinet, and I love music! I will leave in June to serve in the Trinidad, Port of Spain mission and I could not be more excited!

Why I am a Mormon

My parents taught me the truths of the gospel from the moment I was born. I learned to love being a Mormon at a very young age. As I have gotten older, I have gained my own testimony of the truth of this gospel. I know that I am a daughter of God, and that He knows me personally. I know that God sent His son, Jesus Christ, to suffer for our pains, sorrows, and sins so that we can return to live in God's presence someday! I know that God wants me to be happy, and to help others do the same. I know that God really has a hand in our lives! I have found so much happiness through being a Mormon!!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sharing God's love with those around me every day! I look for opportunities to serve and to share my joy with others. I look for the tender mercies in my own life and thank God for them. I love to go to the temple, attend church meetings, and read my scriptures. I have been able to share my talents by being a ward choir pianist in my Young Single Adult ward.
