Hi I'm Paul

I am a University of Utah student. I am a biology major. I am a Mormon

About Me

I am currently a university student and I want to help people. My goal in life is to create something, preferably a vaccine or new medical procedure, that can help people to become happy. I think there is too much negativity and unhappiness in the world, I want to alleviate some of the misery. I enjoy learning and love math and science. There are so many things available to us on this earth. I want to experience all that which is good.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church, but that doesn't mean I was always a part of it. I always felt like I was an outsider. It's normal I think for people to feel this. It wasn't until my senior year in high school that I started to feel like the church was a part of me and not me being part of the church. Now that I am in college and leaving to Argentina on a mission soon, I release that I am truly part of something special and that it is truly a part of me. Coming to college a lot of people seem to lose sight of what is important, I know sometimes I focus too much on what people think, but I always try to keep the end goal in sight, to be happy. This gospel makes me happy, and even though it is sometimes seems restrictive to outsiders, I don't see it as that. I see it something that makes he happy, so why would I want to change that. I know that what I always was taught as a child is true, because I can see its impact on my life.

How I live my faith

I am currently in a young single adult ward with a bunch of 18-25 year-olds. I attend church and go to meetings and enjoy the company of others around me. I was just recently released from an assignment to be a ward missionary. My goal as a ward missionary was to propose ideas and activities that could strengthen those within our faith that were weakening or falling. I really enjoyed this calling and I think I allowed me to share what I know with other people.
