Hi I'm Thomas Beenfield

I have lived in Utah my whole life. My hobbies include Hiking, fishing, hunting, singing, and playing the guitar!

About Me

Like I said in my introduction, I love the outdoors and I love music! I am in a family of 3 brothers and 1 sister. I am the youngest and 3 out of the 5 siblings have kids of there own. I love school, but I would have to agree with every teenager that summer life out weighs schools social life. I love boating when I can get the chance. Camping is fun to. Every year my family and I get the pleasure of camping at Bear Lake as a family for a week. This gives us the opportunity to come together and find happiness through family. Nothing is more important to me in this life than family! I was just called to serve in the Jacksonville, Florida mission. I am super excited about that! When I return I want to go to college at UVU, and earn a bachelors degree in business management. I also want to have a average sized family and live in the country in a modest home! And that is basically me!!

Why I am a Mormon

I am not only a Mormon just because my family and friends are, but because I want to be one. Why? Because I know its true. How do I know its true? By seeking for the truth, and living through the trials I am given each day to reach my potential with gods help. The church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the only true church on earth. I am not afraid to admit that. I can feel the power of its truthfulness, and it leaves me with little doubts of its teachings and principles! I love this church and I am proud to be a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by living by its teachings. My faith includes trying to mirror what Jesus did, and still does. He is a comforter, and a friend to us all. He wants us to have success, and he is willing to help. Now I am certainly not perfect, but I try to become perfect by being a good friend, and a helper to the community. I find that it is sometimes funner to go visit a widow rather than play video games. Recently one of my good friends was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I, along with my other friends felt so much peace and reward for his decision. Knowing that we have tried to be a good influence may have helped his decision. The credit for his baptism is not mine but his and Gods alone. We were just there for him when he needed us most.
