Hi I'm Victoria

I grew up in Las Vegas, NV. I played volleyball for two years in college. I love my large and amazing family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just finished my Associate's and I'm planning on joining a nursing program to get my RN. I had the amazing opportunity to play volleyball in college. I love reading all sorts of books and I love spending time outside. My family is one of the most important things to me. I love laughing and enjoying life. I am currently serving a mission in Urdaneta, Philippines speaking the beautiful language of Tagalog.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church being baptized at the age of 8. As I continued to grow older I decided that I love being part of the LDS church and loved learning and living the gospel. The church provides us with a family within our ward that has always been a support and comfort to me throughout my life. I have made the greatest friends and seen some amazing examples of what it means to be Christlike. I came to know the church was true one day when I was reading some scriptures and decided to pray and ask my Heavenly Father if he knew who I was and if I actually had a purpose in this life besides just being another face in the crowd. These questions had been troubling me for a while. After I pleaded to the Lord to help me not feel so lost or alone I received the most amazing feeling of warmth and peace throughout my whole body. At that moment I knew that my Heavenly Father knew exactly who I was and the struggles I had been going through. The feeling of being alone and lost went away. I know that my Heavenly Father knows me and everyone in this whole world. He knows the struggles and pain and even the joy we experience everyday. The Lord never leaves us alone and plans for us to become great beings in this life and the next. Christ is our Savior and he love us. By know this I can go through everyday with the joy that I know I'm never alone and the desire to be better everyday and strive to be an example to others of treating others with love and kindness just as Christ treats us.

How I live my faith

I attend church meetings every Sunday and attend classes and activities throughout the week. I also have a calling over the young single women in our ward in which I try and always be a friendly face doing whatever I can for them. I always try and be an example of kindness and joy for others throughout my day.
