Hi I'm Brandon Page

I live in Gonzales, Texas. I play the clarinet, love math, and have an awesome family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a sophomore in high school and I am a member of the band. I play the clarinet and recently our band just got sweepstakes for the second time in a row. A sweepstakes is getting strait ones in marching band, concert band, and sight reading UILs. This has been our best year so far in band, and my section is the very best in my opinion. Go clarinets! I have always been an avid mathematician and this year I have had the opportunity to be in Algebra 2. My teacher always has a story or some kind of joke for the class that makes it all the more enjoyable. I am a only child ,and I live with my mom, dad, and aunt who lives in a trailer nearby. My two cousins, her kids, come every now and then and my other cousins and family live all over town. My mom and dad are hard workers and we just started to consistently have family home evenings and family scripture study. I love being around them and doing activities with them, although that sometimes means cleaning or working. I am loved very much by my family and they are a great support to me whenever I need to turn to them.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church, but both of my parents are converts. They struggle at times with their trials, but through the Lord they have always managed to overcome. I have seen their strong examples and I know that their lives have been blessed from the promises that come with the restoration of the gospel. I have witnessed for myself the power of the Spirit, and have felt the love of the Savior. I know that he hears me and is concerned with my well being. When I put the Lord first and am faithful, the Lord has blessed me immensely. Even at times when I am not doing so well he still helps me. I have a surety of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon, and I know that it testifies of Christ and contains a fullness of his Gospel and teachings. By keeping the promises I have made with my Heavenly Father I have enjoyed the companionship of the Spirit. This is why I am a Mormon, and I have gratitude that I was introduced to this church by my parents.

How I live my faith

I am a third year in seminary, and I go to church every Wednesday for mutual with all my cousins and my friends. I help teach classes and I help in the ordinance of the sacrament. I also coordinate rides for the youth in my hometown. Going to high-school is tough at times, but I strive to do my best to keep my standards. I am far from perfect. My friends are really good though, and they respect my standards.
