Hi I'm Mallory Vaisa Kalea Saluone

Born and Raised in Utah with the Samoan culture. I am an artists, an athlete, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love to draw. I love drawing anything from anime and fan-art to my thoughts and how I see the world. I love stories and how they can make you realize things you may have never thought of. Writing and creating new worlds is also on the list of things I do. I also love when you see a color or word how it can mean more then just what it is. Languages and Cultures are other things I love to look at and learn about. I love studying my own culture having a Samoan dad and a Palagi mother, I get to see the best of both cultures, and love embracing both. I'm serving a mission in New Jersey, Spanish speaking.

Why I am a Mormon

When you look at your life, and you see the hardships, and the love and blessing, it's hard to avoid seeing Gods hand in it. I can't look at my existence as a random happenstance. After studying some Philosophy and what other churches believe, this religion makes the most sense. It plugs the holes many philosophers brought up. And even without those questions, I dont just know it in my mind, I feel it in my heart and soul. I love the gospel of Christ. Its cool to think that even the name of the book of mormon is a testament of faith and endurance. Being a Mormon isn't just being Mormon. It's being someone who loves God, and will serve Him and His children in a way He would. God knows our trials. I don't know if I could live in this world without having this gospel in my life. It is the light of my life and no matter what way I look at it, it will always be impossible to deny. There is this burning desire in my soul that knows that this is the truth. The members of the church may be imperfect, but the church and the gospel will always be perfect. God knows we can't all be perfect, so that is why He invites us to do our best, and strive to be the best we can be.

How I live my faith

I was born into an LDS family. I have had the gospel in my life since I took my first breath, and I have loved it everyday. I love to teach to share insights of what I find when I study and how I can reflect on it, as well as hearing what others got from their own studies. I began a journal called a Miracle Journal to write down the things I look forward to in my life, and the blessing I have been given everyday, big or small. I write quotes that make me think of the gospel and how I can apply them in my daily life through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If you can live and love the Gospel, it can make your life so much more happy and peaceful and I know this to be true.
