Hi I'm Adam Dyer

Duel Citizen, Guitar player, Missionary and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy playing the guitar and the piano. I also love to hike, swim, white water raft and play volleyball. In the winter I ski! I will be attending BYU-Idaho after I return from a full time mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that if it wasnt for this church and its gospel I would be in a completely different place. The church and its teaching and standards help me to make the right decisions in my life. I have been blessed from this and it has given me a lot of happiness. Even times in my life where I was struggling within the church I feel as if i've always known the church was the true and the only church of Jesus Christ on the earth today. I remember the overwhelming feelings I had after I was baptized and confirmed a member of this church. The Holy Ghost left such a profound influence on myself I have often looked back to that day whenever I was struggling spiritually to remember, and feel how I felt. I know that this is the true church. I know that God loves me, and that he sent his son Jesus Christ to the earth to suffer and die for my sorrows, afflictions, and sins. Through Christ I can be endure anything. As I turn to him and serve him with all my heart might mind and strength I can be delivered from any bondage. I love being a missionary here in the Georgia Atlanta North Mission. I love the people I serve with, and the people who I have been called to serve. I have changed so much and I know that Heavenly Father has a plan for each and every one of us.

How I live my faith

I try my best to follow Jesus Christ! Unfortunately I fall short of that every day, but I know that it is something that I must work at for the rest of my life. Conversion (to Christ) is a process, not an event. Before my mission I did not like to pray, read the scriptures, or come to church. I feel like I always knew there was a God but for most of my life I didn't want there to be. If there was it would've meant that I would be accountable for my actions. Serving a full time mission for two years has been a pinnacle event in my life that has helped me to live not just my "faith" but my life the way that God wants me to.
