Hi I'm Alexa

I'm a reader, a lover of the outdoors, a basketball player, and I'm currently serving a mission. I'm a Mormon and I love it!

About Me

My name is Alexa and I'm from Grants Pass Oregon! I love the outdoors, basketball, learning, reading, and watching movies with my family. I am the oldest of four kids and I have two amazing parents! Family is everything to me. I attended BYU Hawaii for two semesters and I am now on a mission in Canada! Which is seriously the best decision I could have ever made.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is Christ's restored church on the earth. Knowing that I have a Heavenly Father who created a plan of happiness testifies to me that he loves us and is completely aware of us. I also know that Jesus Christ died for me, and that he knows everything I've been through. I'm extremely grateful that we have Living Prophets that give us divine guidance to help us stay on the straight path towards God. This gospel has comforted me and given me happiness that could not be felt from anything else. I know this gospel is true and I hope everyone gets the chance to hear and feel of it's goodness.

How I live my faith

My faith is everything to me, it's not just something I participate in on Sundays. It's my lifestyle! I was blessed to grow up in the church but there came a point when I had to gain my own testimony. I can remember so clearly when I decided at 16 to truly read The Book of Mormon with REAL intent. I received an answer of complete clarity and peace that I will never be able to deny. After that moment, I looked forward to church, general conference, reading the scriptures and everything that encompassed the gospel. And I know that my testimony is something that needs to continually be growing; there is never one single moment that says, "Yep, there ya go. You know it all!" This life is about progression! I am currently a missionary for the church so I get to share my happiness with all people I come into contact with. It has been the hardest thing I have ever done in my life but by far the most rewarding.
