Hi I'm Audrey!

I love dancing, chocolate, outdoor adventures, fireworks, and 50's music. I'm a student, an optimist, and a Mormon missionary.

About Me

I attend BYU-Idaho and am studying my favorite thing ever, elementary education. I taught swimming lessons and lifeguarded for 3 years before attending college. I am the oldest of 4 kids. I love my family with all my heart! I love running, hiking, four-wheeling, and mountain-biking. I also enjoy singing, dancing, and playing the piano. Some of my biggest goals in life are to make a difference on my mission, make a difference as a wife and mother, and make a difference as a teacher.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because this gospel allows me to know exactly who I am and what my purpose is here on earth. Because of the Book of Mormon, I find answers to my most urgent questions, I know what God's plan is, what the Savior's role in my life can be, how I can find pure joy and lasting love on my mortal journey, and how I can return to life with my Heavenly Father and have eternal life. The most important thing to me is my testimony of Jesus Christ. I know that His atoning sacrifice and glorious resurrection provide the only way to return to our Father in Heaven. He is the ultimate source of hope, peace, purity, and charity. I came to know this as I learned more about Him. I didn't realize that I could know Jesus Christ so well without ever seeing Him or hearing Him. Small, consistent acts of faith over time led to my deeper conversion. Through a hymn, the spirit once testified to me that I hold a special place within His heart. I know that we all do because He cares for us on a very personal level. I know that we will never be alone and there will always be someone to love us and walk with us when we don't have adequate strength. I know that our families can be together forever. I know that the promises and covenants we make in this life bind us to heaven with our families for eternity. That truth is so important to me! I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that when can be happy by reading it and living its teachings. I know that because we have a infinitely loving, merciful Redeemer and Father in Heaven, we can find answers to our questions, peace in our sorrows, strength amidst our trials, forgiveness from our sins, and love in every single prayer we utter, no matter how imperfect we are. I know that through Christ and through His gospel, we will be always be okay.

How I live my faith

In high school, I helped lead the young women in my ward by serving as their class president. This calling allowed me to reach out to girls who were my age and who were younger. We planned and carried out fun wholesome activities that allowed us to befriend, encourage, and love one another. In college, I had the opportunity to teach lessons on Sundays to the women in my ward. I have also played hymns on the piano for various church activities and meetings. For the next 18 months, I have chosen to live my faith by SHARING my faith. As soon as I realized how happy the gospel made me, and as soon as I understood how powerful the love of God was, I knew that everyone in the world needed to feel that same thing. I wanted other people to experience my same joy. For this reason, I have accepted the call to serve in the South Carolina Columbia mission where I will spend a year and half bringing people unto Christ and helping them find peace, happiness, and love through our Savior.
