Hi I'm Kimberly

I grew up in Idaho and Wyoming. I am a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Kimberly, and live in Idaho. I graduated in December 2014 in Anthropology. I enjoy learning about new cultures and languages. I always wanted to go on a dig and find new civilizations but as of yet has had the opportunity to do so. I am an aunt to three nieces and two nephews. Most of my free time is spent with them. I play the piano and like to sing. I was in choir all through high school. I enjoy writing for fun. I even have thought of writing a fictional book.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a member of the LDS church. My parents took me to church since I was born. This gospel means a lot to me, and I am so thankful for my Savior. He really did suffer for my sins and sorrows, so that I may repent and return to my Heavenly Father. He also died on the cross, so that he would rise three days later and be resurrected. Without him we all would be lost. No matter what we have done, we can always repent and come back to Him. I know that my Savior lives and wants me to be happy. This gospel is so important to me. It was truly restored by the Prophet Joseph Smith. He really did see the Father and the Son. I have always known the church is true and have no doubts about it. Even though I have had struggles and heartaches, I still have faith in my Heavenly Father and Jesus. Faith has helped me through my trials and helped my understand why we have them. Without them, I would not be who I am today. I am a better person because of them. I am a better person because of Jesus's love and his example.

How I live my faith

I live my faith my praying everyday and reading my scriptures. I love the Book of Mormon and Bible. There are so many teachings of Savior in them. If we live by what's in them, our lives will be better. We will have peace and happiness by choosing what God wants us to do and be. I have been a teacher to the women in the church. By teaching, I have learned a lot. I think I learned more than those that I was teaching. Visiting teaching, where women go and visit other women in the church to befriend, help, and share a message, has helped my love grow for others and my Savior. I also live my faith my sharing it with others through precept and my example.
