Hi I'm Jamen Holland

I grew up in Washington. I attend Brigham Young University Idaho. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Soccer, Tennis, and Swimming are my favorite activities. I love to be active and go out side and play sports. I am a student at BYU-I. I am headed to Retalhuleu, Guatemala June 24th, 2015 to serve the people of Retalhuleu for 2 years. I love my job at Costa Vida, love roller coasters, and love to read. Speaking Spanish is my passion though.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love my church. I love the feelings of peace and comfort I receive when I feel like I have noting left going for me. I love that families are the central unit to the church. I love my family so much and it brings me so much joy to know we will be together forever. I love the scriptures and all they hold in store for me, and anyone who reads them.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in many ways. The first is by being active in my church. I have lead the youth, collected donations, taught Sunday school, and am soon to serve a mission. In my community I have provided the Ronald McDonald house with supplies, collected canned goods for shelters, reconstructed fences, paved trails, and raked yards. I love to serve others and see their smiles when I have done something good for them.
