Hi I'm Mason Cartwright

I was born in Utah, raised in Nebraska, played baseball for 14 years, I'm serving a mission in Portland, Oregon and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Provo, Utah. My parents attended and met at BYU. Three months later we moved to Omaha where I would spend the next 18 years of my life. There I played baseball for 14 years, attended school, and eventually came out to BYU. I'm currently serving a mission in Portland, Oregon. I received my call in early February and came out on February 25th.

Why I am a Mormon

While I was born and raised in the church, I wouldn't have it any other way. This church and its gospel has brought me a happiness that I would not be able to find anywhere else. I'm serving a mission because of this. If the gospel has brought me this happiness and this joy, why wouldn't I want to share it with others?

How I live my faith

My purpose as a missionary is to invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the Restored Gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and his Atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost and enduring to the end. This is why I am in Portland. I help the people here understand the gospel so that they may come closer to Christ.
