Hi I'm Joe

I was raised in Idaho, I love technology, and I'm a Mormon missionary.

About Me

I have grown up in Idaho for most of my life, but I have moved around the state a few times. I also have always had an interest in technology. It amazes me how far we have come in a few short years, and I love to think about the future. I just graduated high school and haven't decided for sure what to major in yet, but I'm thinking about going into computer science.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have had my own spiritual witness that this church is true. Yes, I was raised in the church, and my parents taught me the gospel from an early age, which has really blessed my life, but we are encouraged to pray to find out the truth for ourselves, so that is what I did. One thing I really love about this church is that we have many books of scripture, including the Bible, the Book of Mormon, D&C, Pearl of great price, and the words of modern prophets and apostles that all help us come unto Christ.

How I live my faith

Since I was born in the church, I have had many opportunities to live my faith. I used to always love going to youth activities Tuesday nights. They were really fun, but also helped me to grow spiritually. I even got to help plan some of the activities, which ranged from basketball to relay races, to spiritual lessons, or just about anything that is fun or educational for young adults. When I turned 18, I got to have my very first calling. I was assigned to be a ward missionary. So it was my job to assign members from our congregation to go with the full-time missionaries on visits. Now I have a call of my own to serve a full-time mission in part of Illinois for two years.
