Hi I'm Ina

I'm from the beautiful island of American Samoa. I've been called to serve in Jamaica Kingston. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 21 years old. I've been called to serve in Jamaica Kingston, reporting to Provo MTC on the 28th of July. I grew up in the church. My dad is a nonmember but he's coming around. I'm getting my endowment 2nd week of July in Apia Samoa Temple. I love Polynesian dancing and playing the ukulele. I graduated from college with an AA degree in Dec 2014. Planning on becoming a paralegal after my mission, if not a judge. I love being around my families and friends but I mostly live in my room. Missionaries from all over the world called to serve in American Samoa serving in our area lives with my family. I love having them around, they uplift and inspire me. I love going to church, its one of the best place to be besides the Temple.

Why I am a Mormon

"I feel my Saviors love in all the world around me. His spirit warms my soul through everything I see". My mother raised my brother and I into the church. This church brought about so many blessings into my family. I feel my Saviors love everyday, because his Light is so bright, it lights up the whole galaxy. Every morning on my way to work as the sun rises, it's light touches the mountains, slowly illuminating this whole island. I feel his presence every time and I know He loves me because of all the wonderful, beautiful things he had created for me. The teachings of the gospel has provided me so many insights about life. I am able to set my standards high and receive full happiness by doing so. I love my Savior. Knowing the fact that He came down to this earth to die for us so we could be with our Heavenly Father again brings me comfort and peace. Such love and such devotion he offered us. Keeping his commandments and walking correct principles will become a joy rather than a burden if you see fit as to why they were given to us in the first place. Tremendous blessings follow as we learn to follow Him. I love my Savior. I love this gospel. The Church is true and so is the Book of Mormon. I know Joseph Smith restored our gospel on this earth and I am forever grateful because of him. Our prophet Thomas S. Monson is a true chosen prophet of God and so are our church leaders. I humbly say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I am a primary teacher and a ward missionary. I teach the sunbeam (children ages 3-4) in simplest terms about our Savior Jesus Christ. As a ward missionary, we would visit the inactives and befriend them, invite nonmembers to our church activities and help the missionaries out. I've done visiting teaching with my mom. We visited people in our church and shared a little lesson with them at their home. Doing this makes me feel good because I am able to see the joy the gospel brings into their lives.
