Hi I'm Joseph Coletti

I grew up in South Jordan. I am called to serve in the Taiwan Taipei mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I played football in high school. I played the Center position. I like to watch/ follow basketball, baseball, and baseball. My favorite basketball team is the Utah Jazz and my favorite baseball team is the Colorado Rockies. I have a scholarship to Utah State. I plan to pursue a career in engineering.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church because both of my parents were converts. My dad joined the church at the age of 19 and my mom's dad joined the church at the age of 17. I was always in the church and that is why I believe in every word that the church teaches me. There are too many concrete details for it to be false and I always get this feeling when I hear the words of the Lord that I know this church is true. This church has taught me the power of miracles that can happen if you trust in the Lord and let him do the rest. I am so grateful for being a member of the LDS church and for being born into it. I didn't have to go looking to far for the correct church because I have always been a part of it.

How I live my faith

Before I received the Melchizedek priesthood I would go over to sick families in the neighborhood who couldn't make it to sacrament and I would bless the bread and water for that person. This is unbelievable experience because it showed me how grateful people are for the sacrament and how it blesses others lives. For my hometeaching I go with a very spiritual man and it is an absolute joy to watch him teach and how the spirit just radiates off of him. We teach little children and he just has this way with the kids. I have learned so much and it really has helped me prepare for my mission.
