Hi I'm Kenyatta

I'm Nuer and from South Sudan. I live in the states and strive to be great. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a first generation immigrant from South Sudan. I play basketball at the college level, but my parents think I play soccer. They are so busy with trying their best to provide that those sort of things aren't pressing issues. Because of the Gospel I was able to see the many blessings in my life and changed my attitude. I am now shattering those generational gaps of a first generation immigrant. I am truly excited for what the future holds and I want to share my happiness with the World!

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to be baptized because of the feeling I got while attending church. It was like nothing I'd ever experienced at other churches. It just felt good. A few years after I was baptized I really started living the Gospel with all my heart. That's when I felt the Spirit for the first time and my life has been completely changed since then! I guess I was finally ready to receive what was there waiting for me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trusting and loving the people in my community. I live my faith by having courage to enact the promptings I receive from the Holy Ghost. I live my faith by giving all that I have.
