Hi I'm Davis

I was born in Georgia, raised in both Georgia and North Carolina. I am an Eagle Scout. I'm a missionary, and of course, a Mormon.

About Me

I like to play all kinds of sports. Football is my favorite because....I'm American. I actually taught one lesson to my nonmember friend about The Purpose in Life one hour after I got set apart as a missionary, so I can safely say that I served in the North Carolina mission for one day!

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a Mormon since I was baptized at 8, even before that I was raised in the church from birth. I am a Mormon because I know the teachings of the church, I have been apart of all the missionary discussions, I have prayed, and I have received answers to those prayers. I am a Mormon because I believe all of these things to be true, otherwise...I wouldn't be going on a mission.

How I live my faith

I used to take my calling as a teacher very seriously, and always took the chance to teach the classes that I participated in. Then I became a priest, and took that even more seriously. Although I only got to give one blessing, and that was to my mom when she was sick. I'm going on a mission to fulfill my calling, to receive blessings, to give blessings, and the most important, to bring my brothers and sisters home to our Heavenly Father, and our loving brother, Jesus Christ.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

It would only make sense if there was still a prophet today. Would it make any sense if Moses was the last prophet on earth. If Heavenly Father just said "Ok, you're on your own now, I'm not gonna assign another prophet". I would be thinking like, what did we do to make you stop caring? Thankfully that's not true. Our Heavenly Father does and always will for eternity, love and care about us, and will never take away the prophet of the church. Show more Show less
