Hi I'm Jared

I'm from Idaho. I play basketball and baseball for my high school. I have been called to serve a mission in Sweden. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the 3rd of 6 children. I am the oldest at home right now. My life is very busy with high school and athletics. I am the starting catcher for our Varsity baseball team. I like to juggle and solve my many Rubik's cubes. my favorite subject in school is calculus and I really like physics as well. I like to hunt and fish, and I don't know the last time that my family had to go buy beef to cook because we always have meat in the freezer. I like mudding in my truck and on my ATV's. I have been called on a mission to Stockholm, Sweden and I leave very soon. After I return from Sweden, I will attend BYU and go into physics and engineering.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have read the Book of Mormon and asked my Father in Heaven if the things which were in the book were true, and I gained a testimony in my mind and in my heart that the book was true. I also know with all my heart that this church is the only church with the power and authority to exercise God's Holy Priesthood here on the earth. I also know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and that he really did restore the true and everlasting church upon the earth.

How I live my faith

I go to my church meetings every Sunday to try to come closer to my heavenly father and to my savior Jesus Christ. Service is a big part of my life, and I try to serve people every chance I get. I try to be friendly to everyone I meet and make them see that they have a friend in me (that rhymed... Unintentional). I am called in my church as a Family History Consultant which means that I help people find there ancestors on familysearch.org so that they can perform ordinances for them like baptism at the temple.
