Hi I'm Charity

Serving as a Missionary in South Carolina. I love sports. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I played a semester of college soccer at Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa, Oklahoma and then went to Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. I hope to one day be a nurse. I have six people in my family; two sisters, and a brother and they mean the world to me. I love playing sports and going on adventures.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the gospel has helped me through so many trials in my life. Through the testimony I have gained of Jesus Christ, Heavenly Father, Joseph Smith, and all of the aspects of the church I want strive to be better and live so that I can return to my Father in Heaven one day and live with my family for eternity.

How I live my faith

I am serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This is how I live my faith, by being willing to serve and wanting to serve the Lord by sharing his gospel.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Jesus suffered for our sins so that we could repent and become perfect so that after we die and are resurrected we can one day return to our Father in Heaven. No unclean thing can dwell with God. Through Jesus Christ's atonement and repentance we can be made clean. Repentance is our end of the bargain where we admit we did something wrong and then can say we are sorry and strive to be better and God can forgive us. Because of this process we can be made clean again therefore allowing us to live with God again. Show more Show less
