Hi I'm Sofia

I love people and I love the Lord. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to have fun and there are many things I enjoy doing. My list of hobbies is very large because I love basically everything. My hobbies include: reading, watching movies, riding bikes, having picnics, hiking, sitting in the sun, playing piano, talking with my family, cooking food, eating food, laughing, painting etc... A very large passion of mine is to paint. I use watercolor or acrylics and am still trying to learn how to make my paintings really vibrant. I claim to be a speed painter. My best paintings are those that I don't spend too much time on. I once completed a very large, detailed painting in less than three hours and it is one of my favorites.

Why I am a Mormon

When my mom was young her friend invited her to come to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She accepted the invitation. When she attended the church meeting she had a feeling of peace come over her and she immediately knew that was where she needed to be and that the things she was learning were true. She was baptized soon after that experience and that is why I have been blessed to be raised with the gospel in my life. I have come to know for myself the truth of the gospel which is taught in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have prayed and sought for an answer and searched so that I might know the truth for myself. I have received that answer from the Lord. A sincere and complete feeling of assurance came over me. The Lord gives answers when we are ready. I know that to be true.

How I live my faith

I love the Lord and am willing to do what He asks even when I feel as though I am not strong, worthy, or good enough. When the Lord asks me to do something, I know that He knows I am ready and that I will grow through the experiences I have in life. My motto is "Everything happens for a reason." I have been able to share my testimony of the Lord with people and help them understand their importance in life and how much the Lord truly loves them. I have also had the privilege to serve as the pianist in church and with this opportunity I have been able to share my love of music through the piano. As we sing songs about the Lord there is a sense of peace and hope. A lovely feeling enters the heart.
