Hi I'm Nephi Sapiga

I'm from Hayward, CA and I'm a Mormon

About Me

From elementary on up to high school I played soccer, baseball, basketball, volleyball, football, and track and field. My hobbies right now do not consist of artistic talents lol. Some people are good in wood carving or playing the piano. I'm good at playing Madden and Call Of Duty, preferably on the PlatStation 4. lol. After high school I attended junior college for a year and then decided I wanted to serve my mission. I was taught self reliance while growing up, so I knew how important it was to pay for my mission. I then was able to score a well paid job (for my age) working as a checkpoint transportation security officer at the airport. As I was preparing for my mission I've came across challenges both spiritually and physically that caused for a delay in serving my mission. Although it took quite some time to overcome my challenges (around 2 years), I was fortunate enough to pay for my whole mission. This brings me to where I am now, anxiously waiting to serve my mission in Oklahoma in a couple of weeks!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I stand as a witness of the countless blessings my Father In Heaven has sent me through this gospel and because I've tested and came to know the teachings of this gospel are true. For that purpose, I have faith in Him and His gospel and that's what keeps me going as a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church every Sunday to worship and come close to my Heavenly Father. I participate in church activities as well as give service to those in need and to my community. I look to be an example for the younger men, in the congregation i belong to, by trying to do what's right. I try to teach them to do what's right, to serve those in need, and to love their Heavenly Father. I used to also be a Sunday school teacher where I taught the youth more about the gospel until I moved to another position of service where give service to those who oversee a certain age group in our church.
