Hi I'm Elizabeth

I'm from Carson City, Nevada. I am a student, a tennis player, a photography addict, piano lover, an avid reader, and a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy playing tennis and the piano. I like math and analyzing data. I love spending time with family and with friends. I love photography. I take at least one picture a day, because I love documenting what I do with my life and posting it on Instagram. I create a journal with my pictures. I am a sucker for anything nautical themed. I love lighthouses, anchors, beaches, and boats. I love vintage and antique items that I can make my own. I love shopping at thrift stores. I love watching murder mystery television shows (Castle, the Mentalist, Blue Bloods are some of my favorites). I love to read. I am a lover of romance, although I don't like red roses. I love reading romance novels, and I enjoy watching chick flicks. I am a student at BYU studying "I'm not sure yet." I'm interested in statistics or accounting, maybe engineering. I am a college student, a daughter, a sister, and a girlfriend.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because I have come to know for myself that Jesus Christ is my Savior and my Redeemer. I know that his atonement is real and that he knows who I am. I know that I am a daughter of my Father in Heaven. I know that he has a plan for me, and that he wants me to return to him again. I know that the Book of Mormon is a true book, and that I can come closer to Jesus Christ by reading it and following its teachings. I know that Joseph Smith truly did see the Father and the Son, and I know that he restored the true church on the Earth today. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a true prophet. I know that he talks to God daily and that he receives inspiration from Him. I know that the temple is the House of God, and I know that families can be together forever. I am a Mormon, because it makes me happy and brings me joy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to become like my Savior everyday. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ, and I can't think of anything greater that I could do than to become like him by living the gospel. I try my hardest to have charity and patience with and for others. I serve in church callings. I planned activities every Monday night for a group of students at BYU for a whole year, and I love to share the gospel with others. I feel as though there isn't a how, I just do it. I do it to feel peace and I live my faith to be happy.
