Hi I'm Emilee

I'm a small town Idaho girl. I love being outdoors. I enjoy running and doing anything active and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I consider myself an adventurous girl. I love to laugh and work hard. I love watching old movies from the 1940s and 1950s and I firmly believe chocolate can make any bad day good. I love to collect antiques and study history. My goal in life is to help as many people as I can. I believe when we serve others we become happier. I love spending time with my family. Some of my favorite things to do are: watch my younger sister play basketball, talk with my dad, tease my older brother, and laugh with my mom. My family is everything to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this church, the restored church of Jesus Christ, makes me happy, and gives me hope everyday. This church has helped me come to know Jesus Christ and feel his love. I have prayed and asked God if the the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is his only true Church on the Earth and I have received my answer YES it is! My answer didn't come as a big single event rather it came through small and simple experiences such as; feelings of comfort and love when I have felt entirely alone or reading a scripture that answered a prayer. Everyday I to see the hand of God in my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through my everyday actions. Whether I help a friend with their homework, clean out my grandma's garage or just smiling and giving a compliment to a stranger. I try to follow the example of Jesus Christ in everything that I do. I also attend church every Sunday. Soon I will leave behind my family, college, and everything that I love to serve a mission, for someone that I love above everything else, who is Jesus Christ. As a missionary I will focus all of my talents and energy to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ to the people living in the North Dakota Bismark mission.
