Hi I'm Brandon

I'm serving in the Pennsylvania Pittsburgh mission. I'm obsessed with computers and hope to one day have a large family of my own.

About Me

I was born in Mesa, Arizona. After a divorce between my mother and father, I moved to Illinois at the age of 2 with my mother. My father was left behind in Arizona. However, I still visited him every summer until the age of 11. At the age of 11, I moved back to Arizona and became baptized in the LDS church. During my early years back in Arizona, I played Pewee youth football. I eventually came to realize that football was not for me and converted into the hobby of Computer Technology. I enjoyed studying the basics of both software and hardware in computers and disassembled, repaired, cleaned, and reassembled them. As a child, I've always enjoyed working with my hands with little parts. Such as building with small Legos or constructing a Bionicle action figure. As I grew into the young man I am now, I became vastly experienced in the gaming world. This gaming that was a part of my life consisted of both good and bad. The bad part was obviously my laziness. However, I came to realize that it severely increased my communication and navigational skills that I possess even now. I plan to major in Business and Accounting and start a computer technology repair business with some family members in the future. Hopefully, when I return from my mission, I will do so.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a significant desire to live with my family in the life after this. I know this can only be done, in the Kingdom of God, by becoming baptized and take upon the name of the Savior Jesus Christ. I decided to serve a mission because of my desire for a strong connection with a family and a sacred daughter of God. I know that a mission will help me become prepared to be the father I desire to be. I came to know this church is true by simply giving it a try. By living its teachings and reading the Book of Mormon. I realized how much it has blessed my life with true happiness. I see myself looking upon the PEOPLE of the world, not the THINGS. In other words, living a life of the things you only need and not living in luxury. That is central to the Gospel. That is central to Happiness. It is also central to God's plan that we have a family and become exalted with Him and become like Him. Eventually, those that are exalted in his Kingdom will come to know that they can bear spiritual children themselves just as God bore us. Isn't that amazing? And all behind it is Love. And the only way we can get there is through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, our Savior. He unlocks the way for us... because of his sacrifice.

How I live my faith

I have a strong desire to live in a righteous home and bear a righteous family in my future. I constantly pray to ask Heavenly Father to prepare me to become a father myself and become worthy of a sacred daughter of God. I am preparing to become a father by serving a mission. I enjoy it out here in Pennsylvania and love seeing the green weather in comparison to the Arizona dirt. As a missionary, I find those that are willing to listen to the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ and I teach them the doctrines of the church based on their needs and desires. I enjoy this burden and responsibility because I know it is strengthening me to become the father I desire to be to my children and my future companion.
