Hi I'm Palmer

I grew up in Utah/Wyoming. I like sports. I'm a drummer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving a mission in the Dominican Republic, Santo Domingo West Mission. I am a musician, specifically a drummer. I have performed in many places with jazz bands and rock bands. I have even recorded a few songs with my band. I wrestled all through high school and placed at state my senior year. I still try to follow the sport as much as I can while on my mission through emails that my dad and friends send me. Football is my second favorite sport while baseball probably comes in third. My favorite wrestler is Aaron Pico, favorite football team is the Cincinnati Bengals, and favorite baseball team is the Cincinnati Reds. Although I like all of that stuff, the only thing that matters to me right now is losing myself and serving the Lord.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the LDS church and started out blindly following it. It didn't take long before I realized that I needed a reason of my own to keep coming to church each Sunday and living the gospel. I started reading my scriptures with the intent to understand them and gain a testimony of the church. Sure enough I felt the spirit more than ever reading the scriptures each morning, and just got a good, warm feeling that I was doing the right thing. At the end of the Book of Mormon I prayed to know it was all true, and I was overwhelmed with feelings knowing for a fact that everything I had just read was completely true. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, and I know that this church is the only true church on the planet. I know that Heavenly Father watches everything I do, and cares about me and everyone else in the world more than we ever could imagine. This church means everything to me and I don't know where I would be without it.

How I live my faith

Everything I do right now testifies how I live my faith. Every moment of the day I am serving the Lord. When I'm not serving I just feel like I'm wasting my time. Missionary work really is the greatest way to make you happy and show that you love the Lord and his children.
