Hi I'm Chauni

I live in the beautiful state of Utah. I love the Gospel and I am a proud Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from high school with the class of 2014. I was on Executive Council my senior year. I love music. I love playing the ukulele and the guitar and I also like to sing.I love this Gospel and am so excited to be able to share it with the people of Nevada:)

Why I am a Mormon

Being apart of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has truly helped my life. As cliche as it might sound, I don't know where I would be if not for the Church. Though I have had the Gospel in my life since I was born, these past years is when I actually gained my own testimony of the Church. I used to just think that it was enough to have people around me have testimonies. But as I have come to learn and have a better understanding of this Gospel, I realized that it's not enough to just go through the motions. I had an experience where my prayers were answered with such power and certainty that the spirit was so overwhelming, I knew that I had to do something about it. So I decided that I needed to serve a mission. Not just for myself, but for others. For those who have never had the opportunity to feel the spirit. To share with them the feeling that I was blessed to feel. I know this church is true and as members, the best thing we can do in life is to bring others to come unto Christ. I am a Mormon because there is nothing better, nothing like it, nothing that can make you feel so close to God. I am a Mormon because the Lord wishes for ALL his children to come back to him and it is up to us to help bring our brethren back home. I am a Mormon because this is the only true church on the Earth. I know this Gospel is the key to happiness as well as the key to return to our Father in Heaven. I hope to be able to help those I can to bring them to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I come from a community where the majority of people were LDS, so hanging around the right crowd was never really an issue. I have grown up in the church and have able to continue to grow from it and gain my own testimony as I got older. The past few wards that I have been in have definitely been a blessing in my life. Church members in my ward are very strong in the church and will never hesitate to help out somebody in need.
