Hi I'm Alexis Bramwell

Hola! I'm a sun loving Camarillo California girl enjoying every minute I get to experience here on this beautiful planet!

About Me

I grew up playing any sport that my parents could put me in and I had time for. I naturally devoted my time more and more to soccer. I have played since I was 4 and I still can't get enough of it. I love all sports, watching and playing them. I also found a love for art when I was young. In high school I started to get more serious about it and have found that to be my major in college, for now. Because I grew up in California I was at the beach a lot digging in the sand and playing in the waves. I love the beach and in general love being outdoors. You could say i'm a nature freak, its true!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love the Joy that I find through the gospel. The Church is a wonderful organization and I have so many friends that I have found and love so much, but I love the gospel more. God is good! He loves us so much, and he allowed his son to show his love for us by coming here to teach us and sacrifice his perfect self for each and every one of us so we all have the opportunity to one day return to our Father in Heaven. This is where we find everlasting and pure joy, it's true, I feel it in my heart.

How I live my faith

Every day I find my nose in the scriptures getting stoked about the teachings and stories found in them. I love the scriptures and I have found that through them, my faith has grown so much to allow the Lord to guide my life. Prayer has also been a real impact on how I live my faith. If it wasn't for prayer, I would not know the things I do. We all have to act with faith in order to gain our own personal testimony. I have found to know this gospel is true though my daily prayers and relationship I have built with my Heavenly Father. It has taken time and effort but the best things in life are not just handed to us, it is through our effort and even struggles that they become dear to our hearts and everlasting.
