Hi I'm Jaden Wilstead

I am an Air Force kid. I love the outdoors and sports I'll be serving in the Cochabamba Bolivia Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My father is in the U.S. Air Force, so I have had the privilege to see the world. I was born into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and have been blessed in many different ways. I absolutely love Superheroes, Spider-Man is my main. I have 2 younger brothers, and an older sister. I am an Uncle of 2 boys. If I was stranded on an Island I would bring a lifetime supply of Pizza. I love football, wrestling and baseball. There are no greater sports. I plan on majoring in Physical Therapy, either working for my own practice or for a local sports team. I definitely love a good laugh.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Member of the LDS church my entire life. I was blessed, and born into the Church. Although Highschool and a few years after were some of the toughest I have endured. In a worldly aspect, I wanted to fit in, rather than stand up for what I believed in. I was the weird kid, and I never belonged. I was in with the wrong crowd for half of my life. Just before I decided to serve a mission I realized that I was ultimately at my lowest of lows, and knew that I had been missing out on the greatest gift in the world. The Holy Ghost was so strong that day. I called up my dad and said, 'Dad, its time I move home and start preparing for a mission.' As I began to read my scriptures, they testified to me the truths of the gospel. Everything that I had learned growing up began to come together, and make sense. The Atonement has played a major role in my life, and am so thankful for Repentance, Baptism and most definitely the gift of the Holy Ghost. I know that my Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ, will always be there to catch me when I fall. I can put my Faith in them and know that through the toughest times I will always be able to feel their love. I am a Mormon because I can testify of all these truths, and because there is no place I am happier than when I am sitting at church on Sunday gaining a greater knowledge of the Gospel. I love this gospel and know it to be true.

How I live my faith

I am a Teacher for the 7 year olds, who are preparing to be baptized. This is a perfect opportunity for me to gain a better understanding on how to teach investigators as I am on my mission. I love to read my Book of Mormon. It helps me with any troubles I might have, and it helps answer my prayers. I also have constant reminders all around me such as my 'CTR (Choose the Right) Ring.' I know that if I put my trust and faith in Jesus Christ, He will help me in troubling times. I know that through Him anything is possible. As long as we do our part, He will follow through with His.
