I grew up in Mount Pleasant, I am deaf. My hobbies are missionary work and exercise with friends or family!

About Me

I am Mormon and deaf. I grew up on a farm in Mt. Pleasant, UT. I have three deaf siblings out of ten in my family (I am 8th in my family). My family all signs with me and my deaf siblings. I am lucky! I love to play sports, dating, and serving other people. After I graduated high school, I left to Texas to serve a LDS mission, and I been serving for 23 months! It's been a great experience for me. My favorite foods are BBQ steak and Mexican food in Texas. It's delicious! I love my mission. I am planning to go to Utah Valley University when I finish my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon, because I grew up and going to church The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I know this church is TRUE, also this church is Jesus Christ's church. Book of Mormon is true and I asked God "is this church and Book of Mormon true?" And I feel spirit in my body and touch my heart, and feel comfort and peace. I started know He answered me..

What is the Book of Mormon?

Stephen Boekweg
1 PP: "The Book of Mormon is a volume of holy scripture comparable to the Bible. It is a record of God's dealings with ancient inhabitants of the Americas and contains the fulness of the everlasting gospel." 3PP: "The crowning event recorded in the Book of Mormon is the personal ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ among the Nephites soon after His resurrection. It puts forth the doctrines of the gospel, outlines the plan of salvation, and tells men what they must do to gain peace in this life and eternal salvation in the life to come." 8PP: "We invite all men everywhere to read the Book of Mormon, to ponder in their hearts the message it contains, and then to ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ if the book is rue. Those who pursue this course and ask in faith will gain a testimony of its truth and divinity by the power of the Holy Ghost." (See Moroni 10:3-5) 9PP: "Those who gain this divine witness from the Holy Spirit will also come to know by the same power that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world, that Joseph Smith is His revelation and prophet in these last days, and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Lord's kingdom once again established on the earth, preparatory to the Second Coming of the Messiah." Those quotes are from The Book of Mormon- Introduction. Show more Show less
