Hi I'm Jill

I love reading. I am going to school at BYU. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Jill. I am from Southern California. I grew up in the church and I love it. I was going to Brigham Young University in Provo, UT with an interest in going into Nursing and completed a year of school before deciding to go on a mission. I received my mission call in April of 2015 to the Puerto Rico San Juan Mission to serve from August 2015 to February 2017. I love reading, archery, and shooting. I love kids and serving others.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this gospel is true. The Holy Ghost has testified to me that The Book of Mormon is the word of God and that He commanded Joseph Smith to translate it. I know that we have living prophets and apostles on the earth today like they did in the Bible and Book of Mormon. I know that Christ loves each and everyone of us and that He suffered and died so that we can be forgiven of our sins and be resurrected to live with our Father in Heaven again. I know that God knows each of us individually because we are His literal children and loves us. He answers our prayers and knows how to help us.

How I live my faith

Right now I am serving a church mission in Puerto Rico. I am enjoying learning more about the gospel as i study it to help teach other. I am also enjoying serving others because "when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God" (Mosiah 2:17).
