Hi I'm Audrey

I'm 6'1". I'm a college athlete. I love to high jump. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the oldest of 3 children. My sister and brother were both adopted. We share a special relationship with their birth families. I have the most awesome family and extended family who I had the privilege of growing up with. They are a big part of my life. I fell in love with sports in Junior High. In high school I began track and field where I specialized in the high jump. I trained hard with an amazing coach (who was a previous olympian). I was a two time state champion and earned a scholarship to Division 1 University of Arizona. I ended up getting injured my first year and my injury continued into my third semester. My injury wasn't improving and my coach wasn't sure if i'd ever be able to high jump again. When I found out, the Spirit told me it was time to serve a mission. And I was called to serve in the Texas Lubbock mission. I know it will be the best 18 months for my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this Gospel is true and that Joseph Smith restored Christ's church once again on the earth. I know that because of the Gospel my family can be together forever. I am a Mormon because living the Gospel brings me joy and happiness that cannot be found anywhere else. I am a Mormon because I love Jesus Christ. I want to follow my Savior, who suffered and died for each of us. I know that through Him I can gain eternal life and live with Him and my Heavenly Father again.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday as I pray and read my scriptures. I attend my church meetings and strive to listen and follow promptings I receive from the Spirit. I have enjoyed serving in various callings in the church that have challenged me (ward organist). I know whatever the Lord calls me to do I can succeed with His help. My newest calling as a full time missionary will allow me to share the joyous message of the Gospel with the people in Texas. It can't get better than that!
