Hi I'm Stratten

I grew up in Utah. I'm a college football player. I'm a Mormom.

About Me

First and foremost, I am a Mormon. But I am also a football player. Simple as that. The past couple of years I've dedicated many hours a day to exercise and training so that I can be the best football player I can be, and my hard work has payed off. The Lord has blessed me with the opportunity to play college football.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Because it makes me happy. Serving others through the Mormon Church has granted me more joy than anything else I have ever done. The standards which the Lord have set make me a better person. I am far from perfect, but striving to keep the commandments of Jesus Christ set me on the path to be like Him. Through the Book of Mormon I have learned about Christ. I have learned of His love, mercy, and complete forgiveness. There are things that each of us have done that weigh down upon us, that make us feel spiritually heavy, and I testify to you that through the Atonement of Jesus Christ we can be free. Through the love of Jesus Christ we can be clean and I promise to you that if you search the pages of the Book of Mormon and ask through prayer if it is true you shall know for yourself. I know for myself. I know that He lives.

How I live my faith

I am currently preparing to serve a two year mission, in which I will preach the word of God to the people of Argentina in Buenos Aires. I have sacrificed a lot of things to do this, including football opportunities and schooling, but I know that it is the Lord who has given me those opportunities. Giving two years of my time to the Lord is a small act of service compared to what God has done for me.
