Hi I'm Quince Hewlett

I am from Orem, Utah and am currently serving in the Arkansas Bentonville Mission. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Growing up I loved being outside and I absolutely loved sports, especially basketball and golf. Once I was of junior high age I knew that I wanted to take golf more seriously. As I reached high school I was able to play all four years at the varsity level. After my mission my goal is to play golf for a Division 1 college.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, not only because I was privileged to be born into this gospel, but because I know it's true. I know without a doubt that by living this gospel it ensures me happiness and peace. I know that I have a loving Heavenly Father and brother, Jesus Christ, who watch over me and protect me. I know that the atonement is real and by utilizing it I can become pure and clean each time I slip up. I know that Christ lives and atoned for every one of us and that through the atonement I can live with my Father in Heaven once again. I know that families are eternal and that I will live with my family for eternity. I have a testimony of temples, and I know that there is no other way to be sealed to my family for all time and eternity, but in and through temples and temple ordinances. The older I get and the closer I get to my mission I realize how important this gospel is in my life. It is a perfect guideline for how one should live his or her life. I would be a lost soul without this gospel, and I am forever thankful that I have it in my life. The Book of Mormon is the word of God! I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that through him the Book of Mormon was translated. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a prophet of God, and that he leads and guides Christ's church today. I know that we as sons and daughters of a Father in Heaven can receive personal revelation through sincere prayer and study of the Book of Mormon. What a blessing the Restored Gospel is in my life. This is my brief testimony. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

Growing up I always knew that serving a full time LDS Mission was what I wanted to do, and that it was the right thing to do. Now that I am at the appropriate age (18) that is exactly what I'm doing. I am currently serving in the Arkansas Bentonville Mission.
