Hi I'm Justin

I grew up Utah. I love reading, learning, and playing sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I spend my free time reading, playing golf, basketball, or any other type of sport. I love learning and just can't get enough of it. As I read and learn, I love making connections between what I am reading and the things I see in my day-to-day life. I think back to all the heroes in the books I have read, they seem to face life's challenges head on by themselves. Fortunately, I know that I am not alone as I face life's challenges. I have an amazing family, and a loving Savior to help me through the storms of life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that it is the way to live to be happy. Through Christ's Atonement, I know that I can be forgiven for my sins and can live with my Heavenly Father again. There is no feeling like the peace that the Gospel brings me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing my best to be better today than I was yesterday. One of my favorite scriptures in the Book of Mormon is Ether 12:6, which reads, "And now, I, Moroni, would speak somewhat concerning these things; I would show unto the world that faith is things which are hoped for and not seen; wherefore, dispute not because ye see not, for ye receive no witness until after the trial of your faith." I know that faith takes action, and that even though we may not see how things will turn out, we need to put our trust in the Lord and follow Him. I do my best to decide each morning that today is going to be a great day. As I draw closer to Him and feel His love for me, each day is a great day.
