Hi I'm Callie

I'm an amateur artist and poet, a future teacher, and a proud Mormon.

About Me

I'm the oldest of 4 kids and I love children! I have found my passion in teaching and am going to college with plans to major in special education. I have always been a lover of the arts and have recently gotten into painting and writing poetry. I love using words and painting to express my love of my Heavenly Father and the gospel. I hope that when other people see my art they will be able to relate to it and it will bring them closer to Christ!

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a member of the church my whole life, but my testimony continues to grow every day. When I was in high school, I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety. Life seemed to be a downward spiral and I felt alone and empty. Luckily, I had the knowledge that I was not truly alone. I felt Heavenly Father's love and I decided to have faith that things would get better if I trusted in Him. I learned that because of Christ's atonement, all sorrows are temporary. Relying on my savior and having faith in His atonement has gotten me through all my rough patches. I started reading my scriptures and praying every day and it has made all the difference for me! I am happy because I know that Jesus Christ lives and I know that He and Heavenly Father love me and that I can turn to them and rely on them no matter what trials I face.

How I live my faith

I work with the women in my student ward. I do my best to be aware of their needs and to help them with whatever they need. I also help organize activities. I recently got called to be a missionary for the church in the Spain Barcelona mission! I am so excited to share the gospel there!
