Hi I'm Kiersten

I grew up in Utah. I'm a student studying business. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music, watching movies, being outside and playing the guitar. I'm currently serving a mission in Fukuoka Japan and I am a Mormon!

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon means that you are following Christ and his example. Being a Mormon means that you want to be a better person through Christ. I am a Mormon because it is centered on Christ and His atonement. Without Him, without His atonement, we could not live with Him again. Because He atoned for our sins He has made it possible to live in God's presence, to become like Him and to be happy. I pray to my Father in Heaven and ask for things that I need, or I tell Him when things get hard. He is my constant source of comfort. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is also an organization of support and love. God loves us so much, and He doesn't want us to feel alone or unsupported. The Mormon church is an organization that was created by God so that we will always have a family. In my own life, I have found that the Mormon church is divinely created to help us when we need it most. We aren't meant to be alone, and we don't have to be. We are asked to love one another as we love God. We show our love for God through loving others. We are a service oriented church and the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the reason that we commit and why the church is thriving. We focus completely on Christ and through Him we teach of eternal family, love, service, happiness, joy, charity, forgiveness of others, forgiveness of yourself, the grace of God, and so much more. This truly is the Church of Jesus Christ. He has given His power on the earth today for us to partake of because He loves us so much. My hope is that everyone can find the happiness and truth that I feel in my life daily. Christ loves us so individually. He knows each of our names, He knows our struggles, He knows our pains and heartaches. He knows what makes us happy or frustrated. He knows us perfectly and because of that He knows the desires of our hearts and how to make us perfectly happy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church each week. I read the scriptures, both the Book of Mormon and the Bible. I have served in leadership callings within the church that I normally would never have to opportunity to do. I have also served as a teacher, in activities planning, and with the sisters my age.
