Hi I'm Patricia

I am a mom of six, and grandma of thirteen. I have a sweet husband. We have been married 43 years. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love to quilt, solve crossword puzzles, read good books, and enjoy my grandchildren. When I had five children, I went back to school and became a radiology (x-ray) technologist. I have worked part time in that field for twenty seven years. It has been a very rewarding career, and I love it! Now all my children are grown and on their own, so my husband and I enjoy the quiet of our little home.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe in our Savior Jesus Christ. I recently had the opportunity to visit Israel, and to walk where He walked and feel the spirit of that country was truly amazing. I loved being in a little wooden boat on the Sea of Galilee. I could actually picture Jesus calming the storm, walking on the water, and calling the fishermen to come and follow Him. Another highlight of my trip was visiting the garden tomb. I had a very strong feeling from the Holy Ghost that Jesus really did rise from the dead, and that He lives again. That brings me so much comfort as I want to be with loved ones who have died. I know I can be with them because of His sacrifice and resurrection. I was taught about Jesus as a child in my home, and can't remember a time when I didn't know He is my Savior. My testimony grows more and more all the time as I study His life, miracles and teachings. I love Him so much, and want to align my life with His.

How I live my faith

I enjoy participating with a woman's organization in our church. I have the opportunity to teach occasionally. It is fun to lead a discussion and get input from others. My favorite thing to do in my church is teach the children. To hear them sing each week does my heart good! The children sound like little angels. I also love singing alto in a choir. Our congregation has many talented people who also participate in the choir. It's fun to sing with friends!!
