Hi I'm Itzel

I grew up in Phoenix Arizona. I plan to become a Social Worker in English, Spanish and ASL. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a in the start of a new path. The path of a Missionary. I enjoy going out in adventures and learning about various cultures. However at this age we have the privilege to share are faith and bring others to Christ and I want to be a part of that. The path of a Missionary is not easy but God will always provide a way as long as you have faith and take the path that is destined for you. I am ready to share this wonderful gospel and invite others of age to do so as well. Lets go out to have the best adventure.

Why I am a Mormon

When in a dark room we seek companionship, we seek the light which will lead us to the way out. Although I have been a member all my life I have been in rooms full of darkness where I have felt alone and forgotten but having this knowledge of the restore Gospel in my life has help me find this light. My light that picks me up when I fall because I am taught that my Father in Heaven loves me as well as Jesus Christ and that no matter what happens or what I do they will always love me and want the best for me. I am not a member because I was born into it nor because my parents are of this religion.I am a Mormon because I have a testimony of my own and have found the change and happiness that so many seek for.

How I live my faith

I participate in my faith by helping those that have lost their way in monthly visits with others Sisters of the Church. I was able to learn form the classes that I got the opportunity to teach to the children. To attend Church and ponder on the message taught.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Much of what is done in the Church is to bless and help those who are not Mormon. More than 53,000 Mormon missionaries serve through the world today. All of their service is to help those who are not Mormon. Joseph Smith himself taught that we are "to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked, to provide for the widow, to dry up the tear of the orphan, to comfort the afflicted, whether in this church, or in any other, or in no church at all."
