Hi I'm Courtney

I'm from southern California. I enjoy reading. I love the beach. I also love the snow. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a sophomore in college. My major is English, but I am still undecided about a career. I enjoy playing sports. I participated in soccer and volleyball teams last semester. I absolutely love to read. I like to draw and paint and just create art. Currently I am on break from school and working at a tax and accounting firm. I have learned so much and I really enjoy the people I work with.

Why I am a Mormon

I know the church is true. While I don't have a perfect understanding of everything, I have experienced the gospel working in my life and know that its teachings are of God. It provides so much more meaning to life and helps me to become a better person. I have seen God's hand working in my life and know that He is watching over each of us closely. Living the gospel brings me so much joy even though its not always easy. I find so much comfort and peace in my Savior, Jesus Christ, and knowing that He has suffered all things for me. He understands all that I go through and has given me the strength to continue many times when I couldn't on my own. I know my life has purpose and I know I am not alone in accomplishing it.

How I live my faith

Currently I am serving an 18 month mission. I was called to serve in the Virginia Richmond Mission. It is a great blessing to be able to put on my missionary badge each day and testify of the truth and hope of the gospel of Jesus Christ. As I strive to live the teachings of Christ I am able to have the Spirit guide me in all that I do. That is a vital part to missionary work. The Spirit testifies of the truth and helps people to come to their own understanding of the gospel. Each day I do my best to work hard and live what I teach so that the Spirit might work through me on behalf of those I encounter.
