Hi I'm Tanner

I am serving in the West Virginia Charleston Mission! I Love my family! I love my mission! And I AM a MORMON!

About Me

I'm from Meridian Idaho! I am currently serving in the WVCM and I love it!!! My hobbies are listening to music, traveling with my family, and watching movies. My family means everything to me and I am so blessed to have them in my life! I also just love little kids, they always put a smile on my face!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this gospel brings the only true joy into my life. Every day I feel of the love of my Savior Jesus Christ and how much I mean to him. I am so grateful for the atonement of Jesus Christ because without it, there is no other possible way that we as earthly kin can return to live with our loving Heavenly Father. My personal love for the Savior is so strong and reflects in my life. I always try to live like him and remember him in all that I do. Jesus loves each and everyone of us and with his help we can all be saved. It doesn't matter what past transgressions you have made, whether big or small, because we all make mistakes, that is part of this life. But because Jesus Christ died for us, if we but truly and honestly repent, we can all be saved and return to live with him and our beloved Heavenly Father. Just remember that your sins are only experiences that you have, they are NOT you. You can always over come them with the help of our Savior. If we all but put our faith in Jesus Christ and live our lives for him in service, we can all experience true joy and happiness. This gospel is such a big guide for us in these troubling days. Without the gospel we would all be lost. I am a Mormon because I KNOW that this gospel IS true and if we live it, we will be happy. I say that in the sacred name of Jesus Christ Amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith to the best of my ability. I try live so that everyone I come in contact with will know that I am a Mormon. I help out in the community regularly and do many service projects. I home teach every month and always try to be a Christ-like person.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

A testimony is a personal knowledge of things that have been revealed unto you by the Holy Ghost. As many test their faith, which is not yet a testimony, they begin to gain that testimony because God knows that they are trying their faith and want to know if something is true. Anyone can gain a testimony of anything, you just have to ask God for help, and he will test your faith. For example, many do not believe that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. But if they truly read and ponder it and ask God if it is true, then he will give unto them an unshakable testimony of the Book of Mormon or anything else for that matter. Show more Show less

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

The Atonement of Jesus Christ is the one essential part to fulfill the plan of Happiness. Jesus preformed the Atonement in order for us to return to live with him and our Heavenly Father if we choose to do so. Jesus was the only person who could preform the Atonement because he is the only literal son of God. No one else could of gone through what he did. Because his is part God, he was able to do that. Also, no one else has that much love for another person. Jesus had so much love for us that he laid down his life and felt every pain, sorrow, and affliction for you and me. How great was his love! Because Jesus laid down his life, he made it possible for us to repent of our sins no matter how great, so that we can one day return to the presence of our Heavenly Father. Show more Show less
