Hi I'm Kenzi

I'm from a family of nine, seven kids and two parents. I love to draw, bake, sing, dance, and make people happy. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently a junior in high school, and an aspiring baker. I hope to one day own my own cupcake shop. I love to sing, I'm in my high school's advanced choral program, Choraliers. I also love to dance, and I'm currently a co-captain on our Dance Team. I'm kind of a nerd, and I say that proudly. I get good grades because I work hard. I love to read, read, read! I even do some writing of my own. I'm a huge Disney fanatic, and someday I hope to work at a Disney park, where I can dance, sing, and make people around me happy!!!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this religion, but that is only part of the reason I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I grew up with a knowledge of the Savior, but at some point I could no longer rely on the testimonies of my parents and siblings, and I had to pray to know for myself if this Gospel is true. I know now without a doubt that this gospel is true. I can feel it every time I pray, or hear a hymn, or simply in the beauty of the things around me. I can feel my Savior's love for me and his happiness that I am following the path that He has laid out for me. I know that the Book of Mormon is the most true book on this earth today, and that it truly is another testament of Jesus Christ, and that it shows His infinite love for us. I know that Christ died for us to atone for all of our sins so that we can come and return to live with Him again. I know that Joseph Smith truly was a prophet of God, and that he restored Christ's church to the earth. I know that President Thomas S. Monson is a true and living prophet on this earth today, and that he is a mouthpiece for the Lord.

How I live my faith

I am my ward's chorister, along with my friend, which gives me a way to share my love of singing with the people in my ward. I have a closet of prom dresses in my basement that I have made more modest so that girl's can come get dresses for dances free of cost, and they can feel comfortable in what they are wearing. I love family history, and I go on family search to find my ancestors, read their stories, and take their names to the Temple so that I can do their work for them. I also do indexing, which I love, especially the marriage records, because it allows me a little glimpse into the past. I attend early morning seminary, and I love it! The best way to start the day is by learning about my Savior, His gospel, and His love for me and all of His children.
