Hi I'm Zach

I grew up in Utah and love life here. Just like everyone else I have trials, and I endure, most importantly though, I am a Mormon!

About Me

I'm an older teen, I know all about the trials you face in high school. The loneliness, the pains, the relationships you regret, the beauty of having friends, and the million things that come with them. I love music, play it all the time and I know the power it can have over you, where happy and bold music uplifts you, and sad music drags you down. Whether you are a teenager or a young adult, I know what it's like.

Why I am a Mormon

Honestly I was born into this church, I don't have a crazy conversion story, but I really learned how true His church is last year at a Missionary Prep Camp called Camp Helaman. On your last night there, you have a challenge called the Burden Climb. You are alone. They give you a gunney sack and send you up the trail on a steep hill. As you go, you're bag is slowly filled with more and more gravel and you are told of a potential sin that you committed that carried that much weight. The bag becomes extremely heavy and hard to hold. More weight is added and you almost can't go on... Then you round the last corner of the trail, and there stands your Bishop. He has no gravel to give you, only his help. He helps you the rest of the way up the hill to a picture of the Savior, bags of gravel all around Him. I had done it before but this time I was given revalation on Missionary work. I teared up as I thought of the horror the world faces without Him. People who don't now of His atonement and how to use it, they don't get to set their "bag of gravel" down. They have to carry it. I knew then how true the church was because I felt in my soul that this is where we are forgiven, and I could feel His love. This church is true and I want everyone to know it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving. Our Savior Jesus Christ taught us to serve and I love serving! I go home teaching every month with my dad and serve where I can. I guess if I had to sum it up, I live my faith by living as an example, as I see it anyways.
