Hi I'm Haley

I was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona. I love being outdoors and spending time with my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being outdoors. Some of my favorite activities include camping, hiking, swimming, volleyball and softball. I also very much enjoy music, and have played the violin and piano for the majority of my life. I have attended three semesters of community college and am working towards and Associates in Arts degree for dental hygiene. Recently, I have put my education on hold in order to serve an Lds mission in Salem, Oregon.

Why I am a Mormon

I know with all of my heart that the church is true. It is continually blessing my life, as well as my family's. Through the truths and teachings of the Gospel, I have been able to overcome loss and heartache, trials and tribulations. Being a member of the church has taught me the importance of forgiveness, and the happiness and overwhelming feeling of peace and joy that comes with forgiving and loving others. Through the church, I have come to know the importance of family, and I know that my family and I will be together for eternity. Being a member has set me on the path to eternal happiness, and without the church in my life I know that I would not be the person I am today. The Gospel of Jesus Christ provides me with strength, comfort, understanding, love, and joy.

How I live my faith

In my ward, I help teach the the six year old primary children. In this class, I teach the children basic Gospel principles in a way that is fun and easy for them to learn. I also attend the young adult Sunday school class and participate in the activities hosted by the instructors. Also, I have been attending mission prep and temple prep classes every Sunday in order to help prepare me for my mission.
