Hi I'm Joseph

I'm an International Relations student. I love language, travel, music and the human experience. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a third year student at University, with plans for law school after I receive my bachelor's degree. Son of a loving earthly mother. I love music, playing it, listening to it, just feeling it. The power of music to heal and affect the spirit and mind is consistently amazing to me. I also love the outdoors, longboarding, camping, rock climbing etc. For me, travel and discussion with others about their life and how they see the world is the most exhilarating thing I know. To understand how all of us children of God live our lives, with all the differences and similarities is a beautiful blessing.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know it is true. I was raised in the church and always was able to see the blessings in my life and the life of our family. As I grew up I learned of the power of the gospel in my own life. I have felt the power of the atonement in my life, and the freedom and eternal happiness that it can bring when we come unto Christ. I know that the Book of Mormon is true in the purest form of the word. That every word in that book is true, and has happened and been recorded for us. I have been given the blessing of curiosity and been able to ask and question what it is that matters to me, and if this gospel is true. And I can emphatically say that it is. I have been given the knowledge that it is. And that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by working to be the best I can every day. I try to read my scriptures and pray regularly. I live in a family ward while I go to school, so I try and help out the Young Men and the Priests specifically. I am currently trying to prepare to serve a mission and spread the word of the gospel.
