Hi I'm Keegan

I'm a musician. I'm a scientist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a person who loves to spend time with my family. I enjoy hiking in the mountains of northern Utah, cycling, backpacking, and camping, all with my family of course. I also enjoy working out in the sun in our garden and backyard. Basically, if it's outdoors and with family I'm all for it (except fishing and hunting, none of that stuff). I'm a recent high school graduate, and I love science! I plan on studying neuroscience in college, focusing specifically on neurological diseases like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love me personally. They've provided a plan for me, a way in which I can return to live with them after I pass from this life. I'll be able to be together with all of my family again for all eternity after I am resurrected. The gospel of Jesus Christ, as organized and taught in His church, the Church of Jesus of Christ of Latter-Day Saints, is one of happiness and joy. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in part by attending my weekly church meetings in my local church unit, called a ward. I also take the opportunity to attend the temple each week to perform baptisms for the dead, an ordinance we perform in behalf of those who have died without the knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I'm also preparing to leave my home and family for two years to preach the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ to the people of Santiago, Chile on what is called a mission. My mission will be a time where I'll be able to live my faith 24/7 in a very visible way as I teach others about Jesus Christ, his atonement, the Plan of Salvation, and the Book of Mormon.
