Hi I'm Julia Tobler Hatfield

I'm from Texas. I love movies. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I attend BYU as Theatre and Media Arts Major, Film emphasis. I have worked on many film sets in the Art Department, and enjoy writing, acting, and being an extra when possible. My professional aspirations remain a mystery. However, my non-interests are very certain and include (but are not limited to) space exploration, deep-sea anything, plane flying, working a deep fryer, and living in New York City as I have heard of its extensive rat population. And I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have felt the truthfulness in this gospel, especially in the most difficult times I've faced. It gives me drive and purpose, and allows me to carry on when I feel depleted and strung out. Jesus Christ once fell asleep in his disciple's boat during an incredible storm. These fishermen, experts in sea navigation, were afraid for their lives. They woke the Savior and asked him to help, which He did, and then asked "Why are ye so fearful? How is it that ye have no faith?" I am a Mormon because I choose to live with faith instead of fear, so I have the Savior in my boat to calm my greatest storms. And I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by loving everyone around me. No matter where they came from or where they've been or where they're going, they are worthwhile people with interests and something to bring to the table. And I'm a Mormon!
