Hi I'm Katelyn

I grew up in Germany. I love sports, music, the outdoors, and reese's peanut butter cups. I'm a missionary in Italy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of five children. I grew up in Germany in a military community since I was seven years old. I am a student at Brigham Young University where I'm studying Exercise and Wellness, but I am currently serving a mission in the Italy Rome Mission. I love snowboarding, volleyball, softball, and just being active in general. I love playing the piano, and occasionally the guitar. I love the beauty of the earth, chocolate, and the color green.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because this gospel makes me happy. I have direction in my life and I know what I'm striving for and what I want to become. I know that God and Jesus Christ live and they want us to succeed in this life so that we can return to them. I'm a Mormon because I know I always have someone on my side. My Heavenly Father is there, and He is always protecting and caring for me, and for each and every one of us. I'm a Mormon because the church and its members provide support. The members are amazing, and with the church, I know I always have some friends who are willing to help out. I'm a Mormon because I know that this gospel is true. I know that Jesus Christ lives, and that through Him we can return to our Heavenly Father to live in eternal joy!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by loving my Savior, Jesus Christ and my Heavenly Father. I attend church every week and I enjoy participating in the church activities. I recently had a calling as a family history consultant, and I strived to learn about my family and ancestors, and to help others learn about their's. I found some names that I could take to the temple to do ordinances for the dead, which was an awesome experience! I live my faith by looking to my Heavenly Father and help. I trust that if I pray and listen to what He guides me to do through the spirit, everything will turn out for the best. I know that He, and Jesus Christ, are there for us, no matter what.
