Hi I'm Tyler

Hello my name is Tyler. I love to ski, play soccer, and cook. I was the Science Sterling Scholar for my school. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

For most of my life I have been heavily involved with sports. I played soccer for 13 years up until high school when I picked up skiing. I also got very heavily involved with academics. I won the Science Sterling Scholar for my school and took and past several AP classes. The Boy Scouts of America has also been a big part of my life. I obtained the rank of Eagle Scout and also the Denali Award. I also received the Duty to God Award. I made the choice to serve a mission. I have been called to serve as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Jamaica Kingston Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love everything about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I love that Heavenly Father has a plan for us and that he knows each of us individually. I love the atonement of Jesus Christ and the sacrifice He made so that we could all repent and return and live with Him and our families forever. I love the temple and the blessings that are associated with it. I love the commandments that keep me on the right path. I love that Heavenly Father is always there for me through any trials that I have. I love prayer and that I get to speak with Heavenly Father daily. I love the scriptures that we have to read from. They give me so much light and truth that I can apply to my life.

How I live my faith

The church has always been a big part of my life. I was born into the church with a very loving and supporting family. Every Sunday we attend church as a family. I have been called to several positions in the young men's program and always do my best to faithfully fulfill my responsibilities. I also strive to live the teachings of the gospel in my everyday life. My friends and I always hold each other to high standards. It has been very nice growing up in a place where so many people around me share my standards.
