Hi I'm Heidi Hunt

I grew up in Smalltown, Utah. I am going on an LDS mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of nine children. All of my siblings grew up while my Dad was in the Airforce, and I was born a year before he retired, so I grew up in a Military family away from the Military. When I was three, my family moved from a large city in Texas to a small coal mining town in Utah. I love drawing and painting with watercolors, even though I have never taken an art class. I have taken piano lessons since I was five, and started learning the cello in junior high. I love a good romance, mystery or fantasy story, and listen to a wide variety of music. I have only taken one semester of college classes, but I feel that I would enjoy going into a career involving Psychology.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I was born into the church, I have had to develop my own testimony of the truth of the gospel. When I was sixteen, I read the Book of Mormon from front to back for the first time. Because of this, I was able to better understand the scriptures and grow closer to Heavenly Father as a result. I want to develop my testimony further, and I know I can by studying the scriptures with prayer and a desire to learn.

How I live my faith

In my Young Single Adults ward, I provide the women in my class with a monthly calendar that lists any activities and meetings at the local college and our stake. In the past, I have been a counselor for the Visiting Teaching routes.
