Hi I'm Taylor

I'm from a small town in Illinois. I feel at home among the corn fields, but love my mountains where I live now. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Galesburg Illinois, a town of a bout 30,000 people surrounded by cornfields. I grew up with my 5 brothers and no sisters, where I was the second oldest. It was a really fun experience for me grow up with so many friends in my own home. I'm now 24 years old and my brothers are still my best friends. I know that this is due to the family values that the church teaches.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was born, my parents were already members of the church and taught me the principles of the gospel. I was baptized when I was 8 years old and I learned in my youth the truthfulness of the gospel. I have lived on my own for over 5 years now and I've never missed a day of church due to not having a desire to go. I love the church and everything it teaches and I hope to maintain this testimony throughout my life.

How I live my faith

I've found many ways to live what I believe. The best experience of my life was serving as a missionary in Ecuador for 2 years. During this time I was able to serve and teach tons of people. I myself learned allot too from those whom I taught. I continue to live the gospel now too by continuing to serve. I've had such responsibilities as teaching youth, teaching a Spanish Sunday School class, serving in an institute of religion, and currently as helping on a stake wide activities committee. The best way that I can live my faith everyday is by trying to represent Jesus in everything I do. This is through daily service, kindness, and obedience.
